ACLS

I just completed a four week ACLS class. ACLS stands for advanced cardiac life support. My new job demanded that I have it and since let this credentialing expire, I ended up taking the whole class over again instead of a renewal class. It was a good thing though, because there were quite a few changes since 2005. ACLS includes interpreting cardiac rhythms, pushing cardiac drugs and the use of algorithms for code and emergency situations. My manager had mentioned, that if I was not able to pass the written and demonstration based testing, then my job would be at an end. I wasn't nervous at all until he said this, but I passed with flying colors yesterday. Yeah!! My job will continue, well at least until April 5 when I have to make a decision of where to work next.

Thanks Randi, but I am in a flurry of cleaning. My parents and grandma are coming into town next week! We did go to Buffalo Bills Wild Wings last night. I guess that counts:)

My mom got me a magnet that says: "Show me a house that's excruciatingly clean, and I'll show you an older, female relative about to visit."

Betsy- So true. My mom is like, "We don't care what your house looks like." And I wouldn't be going as crazy as I am, but it is my grandma's first time to see our house and don't want to present piles of chaos!!
